Our interest in historic architectural joinery has developed over many years and has led to the team gaining an excellent reputation for successfully undertaking commissions in this field.
Notable joinery projects are at Edinburgh Castle and farther afield in West Flanders, Mustique and California when our highly versatile craftsmen have displayed their many skills which include wood turning and carving.
Another fine example of the team’s work is the restoration and historically sensitive development of our Tudor base at Upper House.
There are two workshops at Upper House, a restored 18th century barn and the new ‘Stone Barn’. This showcases our joinery work, particularly the oak braced roof of the hall and the oak panelling and floor of the furniture showroom.
